About Us
Palatine Park District was established in 1945 and provides a variety of safe, enjoyable, and affordable parks, programs, and recreational facilities to the community. Outdoor recreation options include 45 parks, including a disc golf course, skate park and dog park. Palatine Hills Golf Course offers a par 72 championship course that challenges golfers of all skill levels. Enjoy over 11 miles of the Palatine Trail which extends throughout the district.
Palatine Park District offers fun programs including fitness, dance, preschool, gymnastics, and a wide variety of classes for both children and adults. Special events including Big Trucks, Sounds of Summer and Turkey Trot provide fun family activities all year long!
The park district operates Birchwood Recreation Center, Clayson House Museum & Library, Community Center, Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, Falcon Park Recreation Center, and the Health and Recreation Center at Harper College. For more information, visit palatineparks.org.
