Empowering Women to Soar to Great Heights- Learn more about services offered to women in need. The Rita and John Canning Women's Program at Harper College provides educational and personal guidance to individuals who meet low-income guidelines and qualify as single parents, displaced homemakers, non-traditional career seekers, ESL students or women who have experienced intimate partner abuse. Women's Program participants pair up with Program Specialists to map out an educational plan, navigate essential college processes, secure funding for classes and receive ongoing high-touch support to facilitate success in school.
Enter on the far west side of campus and park for free in Lot 14. Go to the Wojcik Center, Room W218.
About WIBAF
WIBAF is an active group of business women who are interested in learning and networking with one another while discussing business related topics. Meetings are held once a month, on the second Tuesday of each month from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Meetings are divided between organized presentations including business topics and member features, along with time for networking with other members in attendance.
Monthly Registration
The luncheon fee is $12 per month. Pre-registration is required and can be completed online each month by clicking on above. Registration is requested no later than the Friday morning prior to each meeting. Registration after noon on the Friday before the meeting will be $15 per person. Participation
All attendees are given 30-60 seconds to provide their "elevator pitch" during the introduction portion of each meeting. If you are interested in hosting a luncheon, featuring your company for a longer 10-15 minute presentation, or offering a 20-30 minute business topic for the group, please contact one of the WIBAF co-chairs:
