Popular book dramatist Barbara Rinella brings to life the character of Vietnam's Madame Nhu. Satisfy your palate with a three-course luncheon followed by the dramatic tale of this "First Lady" who rose to power in the political arena. Learn how she became a recluse and how her story was told to an aspiring American author prior to her death in 2011. The presentation is based on the book, “Finding the Dragon Lady: They Mystery of Vietnam’s Madame Nhu,” by Monique Brinson Demery. Rinella portrays the glamorous, politically powerful and harshly outspoken Madame Nhu, who served as a symbol of everything that was wrong with the American effort to save her country from Communism. The cost is $40 per person for lunch and presentation.
