Gather your girlfriends for "Paint the Town Red" on Thursday, October 6, 2011! This chic fall fashion show celebrates 40 years of free counseling service to thousands of Northwest suburban women who have walked through the doors of the Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity (PHD).
The fashion show is a major fund-raising benefit for PHD, which began in 1971 to help women struggling with pregnancy and parenting issues. Every year, PHD serves more than 1,100 women by providing professional counseling and education services to those who find themselves pregnant or parenting a child, age three or under. The Inverness-based organization also operates a Baby & Maternity Closet for clients that offers nearly-new baby and maternity clothes, infant formula, baby food and diapers.
The evening will include cocktails, a jewelry "store", a nail art station, raffle baskets, silent auctions items and a runway fashion show featuring clothing from such stores as, Peter Daniel, A'lamour, Savvy Spirit, White House Black Market, Chico, Talbot, Starr Couture and York Fur.
Tickets are $75 per person. Don't miss this fabulous event! Register today at www.sphd.org.
