Self-exams and regular checkups are just as important for men as for women. From checking for prostate and testicular cancer to monitoring your blood pressure and digestive system, it’s important to take good care of yourself. To help men make informed decisions, Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is hosting a free educational seminar about men’s health treatment options.
The Men’s Health Seminar at NCH is Thursday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the NCH auditorium at 800 W. Central Road in Arlington Heights. Accessible parking is available in the Visitor Garage at Entrance #4 on the east side of the hospital. Signs will direct visitors to the seminar.
Urologist David Guthman, MD, and radiation oncologist Najeeb Mohideen, MD, will share information that men need to know concerning their health. Attendees will learn about prostate health, erectile dysfunction, prostate assessment screening (PSA) guidelines, risk factors for prostate cancer, and cancer treatment options, including CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery. A question-and-answer session will follow the seminar.
Come learn how NCH can help steer your health in the right direction. Registration is required by calling HealthConnection at 847.618.4YOU (4968) or visiting the hospital online at www.nch.org/menshealth.
