The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting more than 300 communities to finish the fight. Today, 1 in every 2 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer turn to the American Cancer Society for help and support when they need it.
The success of the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Northwest Suburban event depends on individuals, teams, and the generous support of our sponsors. Every breast cancer walk is an inspiring opportunity to raise awareness on prevention and early detection, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with research, information, services and access to mammograms for women who need them.
Our lifesaving work in the fight against breast cancer would not be possible without the generosity from our supporters. On Tuesday, August 14, 2014 the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Northwest Suburban event will be hosting the Annual Kickoff Event and we would like to invite you to join us. The Kickoff event is an opportunity to create awareness of the walk, recruit team leaders, walkers and volunteers. Nowhere else can you make the greatest impact in finishing the fight then when you are a part of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer - join us in creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
To receive an invitation to the Kickoff Event or for additional information, please email Jacquelyn Koch at NorthwestSuburbanILStrides@cancer.org or call 630-932-1151
