Here are some real-life experiences that donating blood impacted
my life. Gino, my 3-year-old nephew, is fighting Neuroblastoma,
a rare aggressive cancer. He is winning his battle with the help
of transfusions! In addition, my sister-in-law who had a heart
transplant, and my husband who recently had emergency surgery,
both received multiple transfusions. I never knew the
importance of donating blood until it impacted the people I love!
